Welcome to Laws of Fitness a mindset and training journal built on discipline, not perfection.

I’m Wayne Outlaw, a strength coach, investor, and lifelong student of self improvement. Over the past decade I’ve gone from a 156 pound high school runner to a 220 pound lifter. Today I squat over 400lbs bench over 300lbs, deadlift over 500lbs, oh and I carry sandbags heavier than people for fun.

But numbers aren’t the real story.


The real journey came from the chaos behind the scenes working multiple jobs, going back to school, dropping out and starting again, rebuilding after injuries, fixing my health, and learning how to stay disciplined even when life was falling apart.

I didn’t grow because life was perfect.
I grew because I refused to quit.

Along the way, I've coached people in strength, weight loss, conditioning, and discipline based habits  in gyms, online, and one-on-one. My training style mixes science, practicality, and experience. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just real work and results.

This site isn’t just about workouts.
It’s about the laws that build character grit, focus, consistency, and endurance when life isn’t perfect. Every article here comes from real experience: training before sunrise, studying markets after class, juggling work and school, and learning what “discipline over motivation” truly means.
