5 Benefits of Hiring a Personal Trainer for your Fitness Journey
What's up y'all, take a seat and pay attention because you're about to get schooled!
Everybody needs to exercise in this life I don't care who you are, we know this. But not everyone needs a trainer, I didn't at first. But ironically enough after training almost a decade and becoming a coach myself, I realized the benefits of getting a coach. So I'd figure this week I'd spell out why getting a coach can actually be an investment.
#1 Objectivity A coach is going to be there to provide objective data about your training, sometimes it's hard to remain unbiased when you're kicking ass in the gym and it's kicking you ass back! You feel like your working too hard and you let off the exercise stress right when your body is ready for it the most. A coach can keep you on track and prevent that, while also giving you unbiased opinions to help you stay the course.
#2 Accountability, God damn sometimes, it's hard to go the gym 3-4 a week. I've been there, shit I'm there almost every 3-4 months. The good thing about a coach is you have your own personal stalker who just wants to see you healthy. You don't want to let them down or waste your money. So it's not hard going to the gym when you're tired, it's harder giving up and turning around on your weight loss journey. Sucks to say but it's easy to let yourself down, harder to willingly disappoint someone else.
#3 Experience, Admit it, the first time you tried anything you've probably sucked at it. That's normal with new things, you don't know what to do at first it's a learning process. Full of fun mistakes. The nice thing about a coach is they've been training for years hopefully and have tons of experience and have learned the little lessons that don't get taught. But if you want to spend months and years learning the little tricks then be my guest.
#4 Knowledge You could do it for free online, but I do this for a lifestyle. No offense but I hope I'm more knowledgeable then the average joe at this exercise stuff. It's my life! All jokes aside I've been learning physical lessons in the gym since 2014. Read countless books, watched crazy amount of videos just trying to learn the secret to muscularity. Been to seminars, studied other coach's training training methodology. I know what does and doesn't work as well as the fastest ways for you to hit your goal!
#5 Comfort and Security Let's face it, as hard as we gym employees try a gym can be intimidating with the really fit chicks and semi-aggressive meatheads just chasing the pump. But it's really a magical place, a coach can help you become more comfortable in the weight room, or even just helping you realize you belong here! While also providing top notch safety cues and little tricks to help you have a better workout, don't overlook the little things!
So there you have it folks, if you struggle with any of the above then a coach could make it easy for you, and that's alright. It ain't permanent, but it could supercharge your progress. Set you on a blazing path of success.. Help you make that change you've been struggling with so think about it.
